There is no legal minimum age for babysitting. Organisations like NSPCC recommend 16 as a minimum age and on MyPocketSkill we allow young people to offer babysitting from the age of 17.
It is also important to remember that parents cannot legally delegate parental responsibility to a babysitter under 16.
